Is it a flashback to 1997? Nope it's just a new Shadow Warrior...

From the press release:
Independent developer Flying Wild Hog and rogue game publisher Devolver Digital are thrilled to announce their collaboration on Shadow Warrior, a complete reimagining of the 1997 3D Realms cult classic. Shadow Warrior is a bold new vision of the 1997 cult classic, reimagined with a blend of modern design, inventive combat mechanics, and a contemporary retelling of Lo Wang’s comical rise to legend.

How awesome is that, I am really looking forward to seeing what they do with this. Shadow Warrior is set to launch on PC via Steam and other digital download service this fall with next-gen console release in 2014. While you wait for 2014 to roll around check out this awesome Teaser!

Sooooooo.... Metro last light has been out a few days now in the US, have you picked it up? No? Well read up and then check out the YouTube channel! Also The rest of the world gets last light tomorrow.

Here is a bit about the game from the press release:

In the year 2034, a nuclear war has turned the world into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. In Moscow, the tunnels of the Metro have become a new home for the former inhabitants of the city. Within the catacombs, they fight for their survival, fending off hordes of hideous mutants born from the toxic atmosphere, as well as other factions desperate to take control of what little hospitable land remains. As they fight, they also search for a doomsday device that could be the key to their victory. A civil war is inevitable. During these dark hours, the players will embody Artyom, and become the last light for all of mankind.

The plot of Metro: Last Light was written by Dmitry Glukhovsky, acclaimed author of the novel Metro 2033 which inspired the creation of both video games. Glukhovsky personally contributed the vast majority of dialogue in Metro: Last Light. Glukhovsky’s novels “Metro 2033” and “Metro 2034” have sold more than two million copies worldwide. Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is coming out at the end of October this year and the pr machine is slowly beginning to churn. Ubisoft does a good job at this because the give you little nuggets of gold here and there from the cherry bowl and you just gobble it all up like it's going out of style. That was probably a crappy comparison considering having gold teeth is kind of lame these days.  Anyway, here is a new video entitled "Under the Black Flag". I may or may not have anything to do with being a pirate.
